The leading European skin allergy meeting, SAM, is digital this year, taking place on 12–13 March 2021.
The meeting provides up-to-date information for clinicians, covering basic, translational and clinical aspects on atopic dermatitis, allergic contact dermatitis, mast cell driven diseases, cutaneous drug allergy, anaphylaxis, food allergy and the skin, hand eczema and occupational eczema, among others. We welcome acclaimed experts presenting keynote lectures.

Jeanne Duus Johansen is 61 years and since 2002 Director of The National Allergy Research Centre and later professor at the Department of Dermatology, Gentofte Hospital, University of Copenhagen, with responsibility for a research group in the field of contact dermatitis, a national database of contact allergy and Head of the Allergy Test Clinic at the Department of Dermato-allergology, Gentofte Hospital. Supervisor for 50 Ph.D.-students regarding allergy, hand eczema, epidemiology, occupational contact dermatitis, skin barrier, prevention and gene-environment interactions. Author of 470 peer-reviewed scientific papers mostly on contact dermatitis, many book chapters and editor of several international textbooks. Jeanne Duus Johansen has served as national representative in the ESCD in several rounds and has been chairing the ESCD working group for the guideline on patch testing.

The Vichy Exposome Grant, created & supported by VICHY Laboratoires, promotes and encourages research to characterize the skin exposome.
Eligible applications may consist in research projects in the field of exposome and the human skin, including projects dealing with skin conditions and diseases, either fundamental or clinical, conducted in any hospital, university or other not-for-profit research institution.
Deadline for application is February 1st, 2021
The awardees will be announced in March 2021 during the 2021 AAD Annual Meeting.
The congress has moved to next year, 2021 on 1-3 September, Amsterdam.
